Tips & Advice

It stands to reason that body fluid spillages and the associated risks are a major concern for our customers within healthcare. Many of our customers are nursing homes and inevitably the body fluid spillages they have to contend with are on soft furnishings such as carpets, upholstery etc. Traditionally the use of bleach or chlorine based cleaning agents would be the way to minimize any potential risk to the person dealing with such spillage.

We all know the negatives associated with using bleach, one of which is its damaging effect on soft furnishings. The recommendation we are able to offer our healthcare customers is the use of Screen. Screen is a virucidal, bacterial, fungicidal cleaner / disinfectant; it has proven kill against the likes of HIV, Hepatitis B, the five NCTC recognized strains of MRSA as well as things such as Athlete’s Foot and Legionella.

There are a number of other products on the market which make similar claims to Screen however we are able to provide independently proved data to confirm our claims.

Did you know...

Liquid bleach is an unstable product resulting in poor shelf life as a disinfectant. If your organisation demands the use of chlorine based disinfection we would recommend the use of tablet or powder based bleach such as Premiere Products Bleach Tablets.
